CBH mission is to supply the need for psychiatric mental health services by providing care in a safe and family atmosphere, and to decrease the stigma surrounding mental health in Tampa Bay area.

Goals & Target:
CBH goals are to be the resource for those with mental illness, to supply the need for mental health services by reaching children, adolescent and adult individuals (from age 7- 90 years old), and to decrease the stigma surrounding mental health trough outreach and viable solutions.
CBH target customers are clients with lack of mental health coverage, and clients with conditions exacerbated or triggered by the current pandemic (Covid-19).
To offer different treatment alternatives to clients suffering from clinical depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, and others psychiatric disorders.
Patrick Desir, PMHNP
Dr. Desir Patrick was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti but started his medical education at the “Autonomous University of Santo Domingo” where he earned his Doctorate in Medicine. He then went to Florida International University and Wilkes University to become Board Certified in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. Dr. Desir is one of the providers at Connection Behavioral Health, which mission is to extend care access to individuals covered by government programs or less fortunate families. He enjoys his profession and wants to use his clinical experience to help people suffering from mental illness, and his devotion is to reduce the stigma around mental health in the Tampa Bay area. Carline Desir, DNP, PMHNP-BC
Dr. Desir is a very dedicated and compassionate provider. She has been working in the psychiatric mental health field for over 14 years providing mental health services to the most vulnerable populations in Miami-Dade and Pinellas County. Dr. Desir is a board certified psychiatric/mental health NP. She graduated with her Doctorate Degree in nursing practice at Wilkes University. Dr. Desir is very passionate about people with mental health needs and has always helped them and their loved ones achieve their goals through different psychotherapy and psychopharmacological approaches. Her goals are to make your experience and encounter as smoothly as possible.
Hardeep Singh, MD,
Hardeep Singh, MD, is medical director at Turning Point in Tampa, Florida, and has been a psychiatrist and psychopharmacologist in private practice for over 30 years. His areas of expertise include psychopharmacology of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, MDD, panic disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, and substance use disorders. Dr Singh earned his medical degree and completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Lucknow Medical School in India and a residency in adult psychiatry at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He is a life fellow of the American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology and a life distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
